¡Terminando julio! // Ending July!

Empezamos otra semana más y esta viene movidita.

Tenemos a dos miembros del equipo haciendo una colaboración con el grupo de Turquía (UNAMBG) traduciendo a castellano y euskera una historia que han creado. Os animamos a leerla, os dejamos aquí un pequeño resumen:

Una niña con un abuelo diabético quiere hacer una aplicación que le recuerde al abuelo cuando ponerse la inyección y las comidas que puede y no puede tomar. La historia da un giro inesperado cuando, para ayudarla, aparecen un biólogo y un programador ofreciéndole una solución mejor: introducir bacterias en el intestino de su abuelo que produzcan insulina cuando los niveles de azúcar en sangre aumenten.

También el lunes contactamos con el equipo de Chihuahua (Mexico) y compartimos experiencias que estamos viviendo en el desarrollo del proyecto, nos pidieron información sobre la influencia del hongo "Verticillium dahliae" en el ecosistema España y nos ofrecieron ayuda con la wiki. ¡Nos ha encantado hablar con ellos!

Here we go with a new intense week.

There are two team members who are working on a collaboration with a group from Turkey (UNAMBG) translating to Spanish and Basque a story that they have created. We encourage you guys to read it, here you have a small recap:

A young girl whose grandpa is diabetic wants to create an app that will remember his grandpa when to put on the injection and the food he is able to eat or not. The story changes completely when a biologist and a programmer appear offering her a better solution: introducing bacteria in his grandpa's digestive system which will produce insulin whenever the levels of sugar in blood increase.

We have also contacted with a team from Chihuahua (Mexico) and shared with them experiences we have lived during the development of the project. They asked us about the fungus called "Verticillium dahliae" and its influence in the Spanish ecosystem and they also offered us help with the wiki. We've really enjoyed talking with them!
